    1. Got all the way to the end and was so depressed that I have to wait for the conclusion in her next book! When does it come out???? I need to know how it ends!

    2. "we are an Indian business family. Drama is our middle name."Adhering to the above lines spoken by the protagonist's cousin brother in the story, the book 'Bombay Girl' by author Kavita Daswani personifies drama in the kind of situations the characters find themselves reeling under. After 'For Matrimonial Purposes' and 'The Village Bride of Beverly Hills', Kavita in her latest explores the consciousness of a lone heiress living in a robust and overpowering business family in Mumbai. The story re [...]

    3. This book is bound to keep you engaged and if you know how dysfunctional Indian families can be you are sure to enjoy reading this one. It's been quite sometime that I am waiting for the second book to be published but if you are not up for suspended stories and want an ending to the book right away buy the 2 together. This is all about a girl full of life found herself in changing situation, the dilemma is still there but wit and humour never leaves the site. The journey to once transformation [...]

    6. It's just a flat story book, nothing great about it. And I am sorry author but I won't fall for the second part of the book. Doesn't excite me much.Good for a light read when you want to take your mind off something.

    7. Pace of the book is decentough not a fan of authors who don't complete stories in the lure of sequels.

    8. A very good start on the lives of rich indians and various diversions that can happen. Realistic and well written. page turner.

    9. Bombay girl is the uptown girl realising her essence admist the downtrodden pathgood vocabulary. for a light reading

    10. Not quite as good as the others by Daswani but good enough. Can't wait to see what Sohana does next. And also curious if Jag will double cross her. I don't trust him.
