    1. I'll give this book 3.5 stars. After reading the reviews of this book, I had high hopes for it. But I was honestly a bit disappointed. Maggie's character frustrated the hell out of me. I understand that she's been through a lot, but her negative attitude and her constantly pushing Ran away is annoying. I just wanted to smack her in the face (thank goodness Cora did finally slap her). She doesn't think she deserves anything good in her life and she continually sabotages her own happiness. The boo [...]

    2. Demanding Ransom Review5 stars from Kris at I Heart BooksI’ll start off by admitting that it had been awhile since a book had really gotten me excited about it’s characters, and drew me in to it. From the prologue Demanding Ransom had a grip on me. An accident brings the handsome Ran into Maggie’s life, but will she allow him to stick around? Will he allow her to brush him off? This isn’t a quiz so I’ll move on…This was very well written; the characters emotions were so well conveyed [...]

    3. Nose Graze — Young Adult book reviewsI really enjoyed the first three quarters of Demanding Ransom. The characters had great personalities, and I really felt like we were starting off in a great place! Maggie was fun and a bit of a tom boy, Maggie's brother was a typical jock guy but clearly super nice, and Ran was witty, flirty, and pretty darn hot!"Did you not get the memo that you're supposed to be a girl?" I roll my eyes at him, deliberately slow so he can get the full effect of my annoyan [...]

    4. I LOVE RAN!!!! Review to come!**EDIT***I received a copy as part of the Demanding Ransom Blog Tour*I absolutely loved this book! Its a little different than what I typically read, but I think that's what I liked most about it. This book was so heart wrenching, it had me in tears on more then one occasion. Tragedy strikes in the beginning of the book when college student Maggie is on her way to the hospital after receiving news that her brother has been admitted. ================================= [...]

    5. I was hooked after the prologueis book made me laugh out loud in partsI loved Ran' s character, he was a smart ass and cocky but in a good way. I loved his sense of humor. Maggie! There was times when I wanted to shake some sense into her. I was glad she finally let Ran into her heart. Now to the sad stuff. Mickey then Ran had me in tears in several parts. I won't spoil anything for you so all I will say is I finally got my smile back. Wonderful bookbuy itad ityou won't be disappointed =)

    6. A PERFECT example of what a difference a cover makes! The first cover would have never gotten me to even read the synopsis. Now I'm DYING to read this book!

    7. “When life takes something that is yours, you have every right to demand it back!”Maggie is very family orientated despite her mother walking out on their family, and would do anything for her dad and brother, especially now that her brother has been diagnosed with cancer. She can’t imagine loosing Mikey and wants to be there for him!Within this book Maggie deals with a variety of different emotions from having guilt to anger and love. But no matter what, Ran is always there to help her th [...]

    8. This book was so amazing, I couldn’t put it down. It was one of those Kindle samples that I read the first chapter and had to buy it immediately. Then I was so into it, I just kept reading even though I have a million other books that I’m supposed to read first. Maggie was a great main character. I totally understood where she was coming from and why she felt the way she did. And Ran…oh, if he isn’t the perfect book boyfriend. He’s hot, dependable, has an awesome job, has tattoos and a [...]

    9. Megan has another hit on her hands!! I really enjoyed this book, as I do all of Megan's books and look forward to reading more to find out what happens between Ran and Maggie. The only thing I would change would be to add more romance to their relationship!Ran is a HOT paramedic! If I ever; which I hope it never happens, get in an accident I hope it's Ran that comes to my rescue! That is how Maggie met him, and again when he came to her house to take her brother to the hospital. He forces himself [...]

    10. review to come.Updated 7/5/13I loved this book. Ransom was totally swoon worth and Maggie was a kick ass girl who yes had lets face it a ton of fricken baggage but the baggage was well earned. She had a lot of shit happen in her life and this book is a perfect showing of how life isnt perfect and in fact it tends to more often than not keep shoveling crap your way even when you are already down. But Ransom is there to show her that there is light at the end of her very long and dark tunnel and t [...]

    11. This was a great book! There was a lot packed into this story. There were times I laughed so hard, and then there were times I wanted to cry. The banter between Ran, and Maggie was fun. I loved some of the things that happened to Maggie. Of Corse if those same things would have happened to me, I think I would have died of embarrassment. This story also had a lot of life lessons on Forgiveness. Most of the time forgiveness helps the person that is able to forgive more than it helps the person bei [...]

The way she continues to fight against the relationship and the way he fights for it, makes you want to read it so much more. It was a light hearted kind of love. One that you can only dream of. I cant wait for the next book to come out. Great job writing this book.

    18. I know as an author you're not supposed to have favorites (it's kind of like admitting to having a favorite child), but I honestly am so in love with Maggie and Ran's story. I hope all of you fall in love with them, too!

    19. OMG! I love this book! I've had it on my kindle for quite a while. en One More Chapter started promoting it so I thought I should check it out is so good! Megan Squires is amazing and the book is 10 star worthy!

    20. Loved this story! Hated that her brother was sick but liked that they were able to keep humor during the bad times then to get hit with Rans accident. Still liked the HEA though. Would like more to this story

    21. Really good book involving fate, cancer, car wrecks, falling in love, forgiveness, and amnesia. Very sweet at times. Ran and Maggie were fun characters with some funny texting banter, and some sad goldfish.

    22. This book was freaking amazing. If you are looking for something to read that will grab you and not let go, you have found it. WOWad I found this.

    23. This book is one of my favs! I have read it a few times! Ran is the man! I will admit that some parts needed tissues but it was such an amazing book!!

    27. Oh Megan! I just loved demanding ransom! There are no words how to describe how much I loved it! I got lost in it and can easily say this is one book that will be read over and again! Much love!

    28. This is my third Megan Squires book. (Previously read Rules of Regret and was lucky enough to get an ARC of Draw Me In, releasing 1/7/14). At this point, I don't think Ms. Squires can write anything less than a five star read!Demanding Ransom is similar to the author's other work in that she has taken two great characters and the reader can honestly feel their connection as it's being made. Ran and Maggie meet under unfortunate circumstances but are immediately attracted to each other. This is no [...]
