    About "Alexie Aaron"

    1. Alexie Aaron

My idea of a great vacation is a porch swing, view of the water and a pile of books to read.Once upon a time I wonder if those words spoken to, or read for the first time, were the catalyst for the spark that lit the fire within us To write and tell a story the way each of us does is a gift and a responsibility We sometimes toil hours with an idea, or even just one sentence, not knowing if anyone beyond us will ever read our words We do it for love The love of bringing to light the world that resides inside our heads It does not matter if we have a happy ending or a soulful gasp What matters is that we put these thoughts on paper So keep writing my friends Keep taking us to the secret corners of your mind Be brave Tempt fate and above all enjoy.Alexie Aaron

    1. This series is just ridiculous in that it is unbelievably implausible, throws all but the supernatural kitchen sink at you, has poor dialogue, and tends to not really explore the interpersonal issues it purports to explore (e.g. central couple breaks up with no warning and flimsy post-hoc excuses), but yet is engaging. This book was chockful of ghosts and paranormal stuff. Seriously, we had not one, not two, but 6 separate ghosts running around -- some just there for the heck of it and having no [...]

    2. Paranormal intrigueGreat adventure and intrigue into the paranormal. Many interesting characters especially Mia all of her developing abilities. Much loved series.

    3. I wanted to like this book I liked the story of the haunted items that ended up together and triggered a haunting. But everything is so easy for the main character, Mia. Whatever she wants to do, she's able to do better than anyone else without much of an effort or struggle. Consequently, things started to get a little ridiculous as she gains bizarre abilities at the speed of light. And like the first book, the personalities of all the characters give the reader whiplash as they change direction [...]

    4. This is an interesting series but it did drag for me in places and I found myself picking up other books to reading in between this one. I did enjoy the story line but is not action packed and there is only so many haunted houses that you can read about with evil and not so evil ghosts inside before I lose interest but if you enjoy ghost stories with a twist then give this series a go. I loved Murphy's character the most and I enjoyed reading about his interactions with the main character who fe [...]

    5. Loved it - this was book two in the series and was yet another good paranormal romp with "PEEPs". I must try hard not to read all the books in the series one after the other, but I want to save some for my holidays!Highly recommended page turner and very enjoyable.I enjoyed this book so much that I bought the audiobook, which I also loved!

    6. Forgot to add this to my currently reading shelf until I was nearly done with it.This seems to be a situation of a series that is at it's best in the first book. This book was so unbelievably ridiculous and outlandish that it made it hard for me to enjoy. Such a shame too, the author was onto something good with the first book.

    7. ExcellentExcellentReally enjoyed reading this book will read the next one soon. I love the ghosts and the way the characters see them and try to correct injustice so the ghosts can move on

    8. some men can't handle strong women. some men want to control women. add ghosts, vengeful spirits, haunted objects, powerful entities, stir well and, voila, you have a fine tale of chaos. Re read in june, 2017. Love these stories. Great characters, good plots, lots more f action, terror.

    9. Fantastic sequel to a great book. I love Mia and all the other wonderful characters the author has created. The story moves very well and keeps you flying through the pages as long as your eyes will last.

    10. I had read some mixed reviews on this series, and am glad that I paid no mind to any of them. To me this is well written with interesting characters, and plenty of suspense / adventure that pulls you quickly through the story.

    11. I am completely addicted to this series. As soon as I finish one I miss Mia and Murphy. Can't wait to download the next one!

    12. Losing sleepI have lost a lot of sleep reading this book! I could not put it down! Again, never a dull moment with some good humor. I loved it!

    13. Great readI have really enjoyed the adventures and ghostly attachments. I will continue on with book three just can't get enough

    14. 5 stars!! The writing is much more engaging in this second offering of the haunted series. It was pretty hard to put down.

    15. Love how Murphy is mobile now. The second book is better than the first. The ghosts are completely over the top.
