    About "Lisa Williamson"

    1. Lisa Williamson

A writer since an early age, I have been fasinated by stories where the characters go through changes and develop strength from great trials I prefer the genre fields of fantasy, science fiction and horror over the general fiction By placing my characters in fantastical settings I can let them grow and develop in ways that you just can t in a real world setting Published in the early days of the ebook movement in a CDRom book that saw little movement I have now taken to the digital age with style I will continue to set my words free and hope that these children of my heart find homes with caring readers who are willing to look beyond the normal to the fantastical.I can be found writing fantasy, science fiction, light horror and fanfiction.

    1. This book has a great world, or worlds. I loved how there were different realms/worlds that one could go into much like the world that CS Lewis had in the Magician's Nephew! As like the "real World" time is normal but once in another world/realm time maybe different. I liked how she played with that to help with some character and story progression later on in the book. I also enjoyed a fresh way to look on how Pookas are made and her version of elves and elementals. At times I found some -holes [...]

    2. Wow, this book has it all and it gipped me from the very first sentence. It is essentially the story of Edana and Midnight/Reece. It is a world of elves, elementals and magik, both light and dark, love, hate and understanding. The weaving of the worlds and passages of time passed is akin to the great works of Katherine Kerr’s Deverry series. This is a wondrous story that everyone can enjoy. I love fantasy, but I believe the story is so well told, that even those who do not read this genre would [...]

    3. A new horse and rider!Enjoy an unusual being, a Pooka, and his equally unusual owner, Edana, in “The Traveler.” The core of the story is a simple one, as old as time – of vengeance and payback - delivered with ingenuity and creativity in a Tolkien-type world. With another round of editorial tweaking, this book could shine even more.I wanted my own Pooka while reading this!

    4. I found this to be very well written. One of my favorite things about reading books like this is being transported to a different place and it definitely delivered.

    5. Edana, along with her horse Midnight, has built a reputation of being a trustworthy and fast courier. After Edana is attacked, however, she discovers that she is more than she thought she wasAnd so is Midnight. The heart of a prophecy in the Elven Realms, Edana must master her powers to decide the future of people she never knew existed. Complete with Elves, a Pooka, and darkness threaded throughout history, this is an enthralling story that will keep you reading until the end.I received a copy [...]

    6. If the plot didn’t revolve around a jilted lover, this would be a perfect read for middle school. Read full review in the 2014 April issue of InD’tale Magazine.
