    1. This book was a pleasant surprise. I'm always happy to find new authors that I look forward to following. SM Blooding is definitely one of those. I don't normally go for the short books because they often leave you wanting more out of the story, like it wasn't developed fully. Not so with this one. It was short but jam packed with solid characters and situations. You are kind of dropped into the middle of this woman's life and a case she's working on. As the story progresses you get more backgro [...]

    2. It's not often that I read a book and I spend the entire time wondering what it is about it that's keeping me reading. Usually I know right away if I'm enjoying a book or if I'm just not. In fact, the only other time I remember having this feeling is with the first Snookie Snackcake book. I was left with such mixed feelings that I never went back to the series. This one could be similar for me. As I was reading it, I kept thinking that I really liked the premise. In fact, I was enjoying the book [...]

    3. Knock knock whose there? Open the Gates of Hell already! What? Demon Summoner, Ghost Hunter, "I don't do ghost hunts." Part demon, immortal who again? Icy Fire scalding her forearm, did she piss off the ghost? Nicknames thrown around have to figure out who is who? Get this Jackie was born in 1976 with a slick hard muscle body but wait . . . are you ready for this, aha . . . I'm talking about Dex's car, very temperamental too. A ghost of a little girl now things get intense, who is she? Paige a [...]

    4. This is a pretty short story for me. Paige is part of an interesting family with interesting powers. Each one is very unique to themselves. Paige was at first looked almost down upon for the power she held. A power her grandmother bound her to forget. I don't want to give anything away. But I am looking forward to the next episode. I think there could have been much more to the opening story More detail given. More story. You will feel a little lost but it's worth reading. Starting episode two t [...]

    5. I read the entire Season together. The episodes need to be read in order or they make little sense because there is so much going on in this adventure. This is a fast-paced, action-packed supernatural mystery. It starts quickly and is a wild rollercoaster ride. It is hard to put down. This is the first book I have read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    6. I loved this story. It's part police/detective novel, part paranormal thriller, a heart-rending family tale and even a little bit romance story. Paige Whiskey has been called in to consult on a small town serial murder. What she discovers is a battle between angels and demons that has implications that go way beyond St. Francisville, Louisiana and it's small town police concerns. The sequel to Demon Whiskey, the story picks up 3 years after the earlier story and is crafted with the same wry sense [...]

    7. Whiskey Witches is the first book I have read of S.M. Blooding. I really enjoyed it. It is a different take on Demons and Angels that I am used to reading about. This book basically introduced us to all the characters and the beginning investigation of a serial murderer. It even has a possible suspect in sight. But time will tell.

    8. Whiskey WitchesI'm not sure how to rate this book. I wanted to like it & some part of me must have liked it or I wouldn't have finished it. There were too many variables, too many characters & too much disjointed action to follow it easily. Not sure if I will continue the series or not.
