    1. Well-written and True to HistoryThis book has a number of interesting people. The descriptions of characters, the descriptions of settings, and the exciting action scenes are well done. It seems to be accurate historically.

    2. I think I found this book dragged nor so much because of the writing but because I really don't like the English or the French. Still, by the time it ended I was annoyed that it left all kinds of loose ends.

    3. I enjoyed this book. This is the second series I've read by Daviv Pilling and I will read more. I recommend this book.
