    1. 3.5 stars, actually.I am a little torn with this one, to tell you the truth. I went into it liking the main couple: Irish Colin and Anna and their demon-fighting ways in Louisiana. The story hooked me in with the question of their need for secrecy and the delicious romanticism of Colin's love for Anna.I also liked how there was just the inklings of a greater problem and world building of demons and angels inherent in the strange demons that Colin and Anna were all of a sudden fighting. That part [...]

    2. Meh is perhaps the best I can say about this. At least it’s short. It’s not awfully written, but it’s by no means great either and there is certainly no linguistic flair hiding within the pages. It’s all rather dry and lifeless in brutal honesty - lots of demons get their asses kicked, lots of characters obsessed by sex, main character is apparently wonderfully caring and yet acts more like a paranoid jackass. Oh and the main characters instinctive reaction to anything he doesn’t like [...]

    3. Didnt get the connection and the back and forth in time just wasnt my cup of tea**I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book**This is my honest review.I had to force myself to read the first book, and that's where I hit the breaks. It just wasn't for me.The jumping back and forth made it extra difficult for me.I loved the details around the story itself, but I didn't get a connection with the characters, which was a real deal breaker for me.The story is really good, but I was sad to [...]

    4. I really enjoyed this book. It moved at a slower pace than most of the UF I have read, but it still kept me interested. I liked the fact that the author revealed the main characters background in flashbacks instead of spending time authors the beginning just explaining things. I loved the way that angels were portrayed as secretive and not being able to influence the world around them outright. It felt more honest and true somehow. Demons are evil, and as such they create havoc. Angels are good, [...]

    5. Colin and Anna are semi immortal demon hunters and their latest mission is their toughest yet. They are sent to Louisiana to join a group of hunters but they have to pretend like they don't know one another. This is very difficult for them as they have been basically inseparable for hundreds of years. Now it seems like the demons are getting stronger and specifically targeting themThe idea of this story seemed good but I just didn't love how it was written. I think there were too many flashbacks [...]

    6. This was a story about an immortal couple who are demon hunters. Well, that's it. Other than explaining the 500+ hundred years history of Colin and Anna, the story is just them fighting demons along with their other demon hunters, Dylan, Jeremy and Max. A demon seemed intent on breaking the bond between Colin and Anna but it's such a strong bond. It was too Christian for me. I didn't know this until I started reading. Other than that, it would have a great potential.

    7. More than Demon HuntersStory keeps you on the edge of your seat, trying to figure out hope the demon hunters can win against so many types of beings. Also wondering about why they were chosen, and how they can beat new demons. Can't wait for next book

    8. Great Story Demons, Angels, Immortals, and Hunters I loved Colin and Anna's story. How and why they became immortal and entered and agreement to become demon hunters. The friends and enemies they make over their long lives. Looking forward to more about them.

    9. took me awhile to get into this story slow start but once you figure out how the story is written then boom i started getting into this story love the ending.

    10. An interesting read on demon hunters, sort of. Character development is ok, plot moves along sluggishly but at least no major grammar issues.

    11. I like the storyline in this series so I'll probably move onto book two. The fight scenes could use some work. I found them missing a great deal and going back to reread them, thinking id missed something. They're demon hunters - fighting is what it should be about.

    12. Demons, demon hunters, rules of engagement while fighting demons, action scenes, humor, romance, flirting this book has it all. A little light in areas but overall a good read.

    13. Reading and reviewing books Very good book about demons and hunters. I was a little confused at first when they kept going back to memories way back in time

    14. Title: The ImmortalsAuthor:S.M. SchmitzGenre:Urban FantasyFormat:EbookPages:150Rating:4Heat:1Main Characters:Anna, ColinThoughts: The beginning leaves you with many questions but as the book progresses everything becomes clear, or at least most things do. It’s a basic story of demon hunters protecting the ignorant human race with a bit of a twist, some hunters are immortal but only for so long. It’s a nice twist that makes this story just slightly different from other demon hunting stories t [...]

Just don't expect to sleep easily for a while!

    16. A book wrapped with history and paranormal.Anna and Colin are immortals. Immortal with gifts for the purpose of hunting demons. This story has some historical references that help add depth to the storyline, theme, and characters. How Colin and Anna receive their gifts is not different from other immortals but they are the only two that are different because they have always hunted together.

    17. This is the story is of Colin and Anna and the fight against heaven and hell it was a good story, but for some reason I just could not get in to it . I was given a copy for an honest review barwatts@telus

    18. InterestingThis is one of the few fiction novels which comes close to the truth. Most pretty up the ugliness, that a fallen angel better known as a demon, really is. They ain't nice folks but most writers portray them as if they were.

    19. Exceptional This book is very good. It's exciting and it keeps u interested through the whole book. U don't want to put it down. Can't wait to see if they can reverse the effects of Jeremy.

    20. This book seemed to have really good potential. I made it the chapters and was annoyed. The writing was bland and I felt like there was this big secret why Anna and Colin couldn't be together. I didn't find out and didn't care to know. whatever the reason, it seemed to be stupid.

    21. Good readA good read. A lot of action and suspense. I liked the characters and personality of each one. Looking forwarding racing the next one
