    1. I started & finished this book todayI was unable to put it down! So many romances are the same but I felt like this one was different. I loved the characters, the story, and the writing! I would definitely recommend this to all romance lovers & I can't wait to check out more books by Karen Booth!

    2. Slick's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book ReviewsKaren Booth never ceases to amaze me with the love stories she creates and The CEO Daddy Next Door is no different. Neighbors who do not get along are thrust together for PR purposes for both of their jobs and soon find they share much more than the animosity between them. As the hostess for a reality matchmaking show Ashley George is use to dealing with all kinds of people but her neighbor Marcus Chambers has been out to get her since their [...]

    3. Marcus has already had a disastrous relationship that left him with the one bright spot in his life – his 11 month old daughter Lila. He’s determined that the next woman he commits to will be worthy of being a mother to his child and thus stays clear of meaningless relationships. His one date with floor neighbour Ashley was a disaster, and she clearly isn’t cut out for motherhood. But his body seems to have other ideas, cultivating an attraction to her that is both irritating and irresisti [...]

    4. I always know that when I sit down to read another book by Karen Booth I will be entertained, become engrossed in the story to the detriment of all going on around me, and be left with a happy heart. The CEO Daddy Next Door was no different. I admired how much this author packed in to a relatively short read without feeling rushed or unfinished. We were given enough of the characters history to facilitate an emotional connection to them, and then balanced and realistic scenarios that moved the s [...]

    5. Ashley and Marcus are next door neighbors. But after one date, that went horribly wrong, they've been at each others throats. But both Marcus and Ashley need each other for their business's. So they agree to pretend to date. When a fire breaks out in Ashley's apartment, she reluctantly moves in with Marcus. This was one of those very predictable, but fun to read romance plots. It's classic boy and girl don't get along, but must pretend to be together for some reason. Then they miraculously learn [...]

    6. I absolutely adored this book! It's going on my favorite Harlequin list and will be a re-read for sure.Karen Booth has such a lovely way with her storytelling. I love how she creates a slow believable simmer that turns into a loving relationship. And a sexy relationship! The British hero in this story is delicious.Grade: A

    7. Marcus was most attractive to me when he was easy-going and laid back, "he put a kettle of water on the stovetop. “I thought last night was magnificent, but if you want me to try harder, I just need some tea and breakfast. Maybe do some push-ups.” He winked and leaned against the kitchen counter." I liked this book, I loved Marcus.

    8. The CEO Daddy Next Door is the perfect summer read - a sort of frenemies-to-lovers romance with playful banter, sparks flying strong enough to make me worry about shorting out my ereader, and genuine characters I couldn't help but love. This story is a delight! Ashley and Marcus live across the hall from one another. They had one date that ended badly and have been each other's nemesis ever since. If only neither of them felt the strong spark of attraction. Things would be far less complicated. [...]

    9. Every now and again, novels can throw you for a loop. In romance novels, the collision between apparently opposite types is no barrier to true romance or happy endings. So it’s the road leading to that prerequisite conclusion in The CEO Daddy Next Door that brings the surprise and tingle signaling something is out of the ordinary. The male protagonist, Marcus Chambers, is an English stud. But, alas, he’s stiff, repressed, buttoned up and disapproving of his American next-door neighbor. Incred [...]

    10. This Harlequin novel by Karen Booth was quite enjoyable. I thought that it was an easy read overall with some minor issues.I liked the storyline and that's what initially drew me to the book. As I was reading, I would have liked for the main characters to spend more time with one another. In addition, I found their chemistry to be lacking. The story was slow to start on top of that. I read on with hopes that the pace would pick up, but it didn't. Unfortunately, I couldn't connect with the charac [...]

    11. I was asked by the author for an honest review. Ashley and Marcus become roommates after a disastrous date. Ashley is a reality TV personality and Marcus is a British billionaire. A fire destroys Ashley's apartment she leans on her neighbor for help. Soon she finds herself falling for him and his child. Although they have a sizzling attraction, Marcus will only date women who are suitable mothers for his daughter. Marcus finds Ashley unsuitable. But he can't keep her out his bed and his heart.Ve [...]

    12. I love books by Karen Booth. In many ways, Karen Booth books have become like having a coffee and catching up with a friend. They are always guaranteed to make me smiled I always feel good (happy) after them! This book is deliciously fun! A Brit guy with a great sense of humord a soft spot for his baby daughter. A heroine with heart, intelligence, and a lot of character.I read this book while on vacation, and it was really a perfect "beach read."

    13. This was a slow paced story and the storyline was interesting. The characters were easy to love. They were both characters that were meant to be but he had already formed an opinion about her and she was a woman that was out of the dating game. Marcus believed that she was not a woman that could be a wife or even a mother but that first dinner together he didn’t give her a chance to let her explain herself. Now as far as Ashley she was a wonderful matchmaker but it seemed that she still hadn [...]

    14. It goes without saying I knew I would love this book by Karen Booth becausehey's a book by Karen Booth! But the book is so much more than the back cover blurb. THE CEO DADDY NEXT DOOR took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotional ups and downs, right along with the hero and heroine, Marcus and Ashley. So what did I love? I loved how Marcus was willing to sacrifice what would make him happy for what was best for his little daughter, Lila. Not to mention he's to-die-for hot and sexy, and there's tha [...]

    15. Sometimes you just want to read a sweet little romance that isn't going to break you apart and put you back together. This little story of two neighbor frenemies that fall for each other is exactly what I had in mind. It's cute, it's sexy, and it isn't too heavy. I really liked this story.Ashley is a matchmaking reality show celebrity and she's pretty good at finding matches for her TV show, but she's more likely to be sitting home on a Saturday night as one tabloid reported. The story opens wit [...]

    16. When I first started The CEO Daddy Next Door, I wasn't sure that I'd enjoy it. It took me a decent amount of time to get through the beginning of the story, as I found myself growing annoyed with both characters early on. Yet, as the story moved along? I couldn't stop reading. It's a wonderful romance story. This isn't the type of book I'd usually go far. In fact, prior to seeing it on NetGalley, I don't believe I'd ever had taken the time to read this. But I'm so glad that I did. It was exactly [...]

    17. Unfortunately the blurb for this novel is a little misleading and gives a lot away. Marcus and Ashley are neighbors and have been on a date that went horribly wrong. She was too nervous and overshared and he is too closed up. Both coming out of bad relationships, they probably weren't ready to be dating. But because of a business arrangement they get thrown together and slowly begin to discover that they have each other pegged wrongly. It's really a heartwarming story with main characters who ha [...]

    18. Sometimes these little, mini romances suck and sometimes they are really good and sweet. Karen Booth did a wonderful job. The characters were believable and their motivations made sense. I commend any author that is able to do that in 200 pages since a bunch can't handle it in 500. I liked the ending and I would totally watch Manhattan Matchmaker if it was real and we actually had cable. I will be on the look out for more Karen Booth!

    19. A sweet, sexy story! The CEO Daddy Next Door had a little of everything. Neighbors, second chances, horrible past breakups, funny banter, a baby, etc. A little something for everyone, and quick, fun read to boot.

    20. Was thrilled to recieve this & offer an honest review! I completely adored this story with Ashley & the HOT Brit Marcus! Once again Karen manages to capture real authentic family dynamics with heat & passion mixed in between a fantastic plot involving a GIN distillery & reality love show! Fast fun read that made me crave gin which I don't drink any EVER! Superbly done !

    21. Another wonderful book by Karen Booth. These are the type of stories that keep the romantic at heart alive! Marcus and Ashley have a long road to travel but it's fun, witty and full of intimate moments that bring them closer to where they both want to be. Recommended.

    22. I enjoyed this book so very much - it is a breath of Harlequin fresh air!follow this link to my full review:bit/2asVuGF
