    2. The younger sister of a newly famous Hollywood actress is on a mission to find out who is slandering her sister and trying to ruin her career. It's not high quality literature; the writing is interesting although a bit predictable. All in all, its a good read and an easy recommendation for a girl in 4th-6th grade. No objectionable subject matter while still having a fun story with teenagers as the characters. We recently got the whole series in, might as well recommend it!


    3. These books are outstanding. Mary's writing is crisp, witty, and she hits all the right notes with her characters. I've found, too, that these are the perfect books to give a reluctant reader--they'll grab for the next book as soon as the last page has turned.
