Cute book about what dogs do, and what they don't do. We all, even Tom, 'howled' with laughter, just like it said we would!

The photos are really cute and the "Dogs don't" ones are funny and silly. I think children will enjoy this a lot more than an adult who prefers cats over dogs (me). I love the flaps in the book. The surprise is nice.

This book is an informational book about what dogs should and should not do. This would be great for kids to learn about what is normal for a dog to do and what is outrageous and silly for a dog to do. In the book there are flaps that help us see what the difference is between a “do” and a “don’t” for the dogs. Please, please, please, if you have a very young one who you'd like to encourage to begin independent reading and you are considering finding simple books with only a few words for them to practice with, please skip the boring and nonsensical "controlled vocabulary" of Dick and Jane-style books, and go for books like this one. At first the photo-digital art creeped me out a bit (dogs don't naturally move that way!) but the simplest text of "Dogs do" "Dogs don't" matched with photos of a dog play [...]

Open the flap and see another photograph of the same animal engaging in a similar behavior, but one that is unnatural for animals, under the words, "Dogs don't." Very cute and easy book, talking about different things dogs do and the things they don't. The pictures describe almost the entire book with all the words being "dogs do. dogs don't"

Finally, an etiquette book for your canine pal! Essentially this is a wordless picture book. The only text is "Dogs Do" and "Dogs Don't". The book creators combined photography with digital art to illustrate some pretty hilarious situations. Dogs Don't Brush Their Teeth provides a great opportunity for young children to "tell" the story in their own words as they describe what is happening on each page.

A very cute fold-out book that shows the do's and don'ts of dogs actions. The pictures are very funny and kept me wanting to turn for more! At the end of the book, there are individual pictures of all of the dogs used in the book which gave me a more personal connection to the animals. Overall a fun and enjoyable book.

Picture Book #16This book was all about what dogs do and do not do. There were things from brushing their teeth, to reading the newspaper, to playing fetch, and to going to school. Each time there was one object or idea that a dog did, and with it something that the dog did not do that was related.

This is an awesome book with a simple and repetitive text (for early readers) with great photographs! The book dedicates itself to what dogs "do" and what dogs "don't do" with objects around the house. This book would be great for a child to read when learning how to take care of their pet dog. The end of the book also has many pictures of different dogs labeled with the type of dog they are.

Great recreational reading for children in early education (pre-k). It teaches about what is "normal" and what is not using the comical illustrations of dogs. I am very sure that children will definitely laugh at the silly pictures while also learning about "norms."

Very cute book with understated humor and flaps that would lend themselves well to prediction lessons as kids guess what is underneath. Lessons dealing with personification in creative writing would work great with this book as well. The illustrations are fun.

Many illustrations show things that dogs do, while underneath flaps we see silly pictures with cartoons of things that they don’t do. The last page includes all of the dogs from the project with their name and breed.

This is a cute story for PK and K students. It is a story talking about what dogs should and shouldn't do, and uses pop-outs that students would enjoy. The illustrations are very realistic and fun to look at.

Our little girls loved this flap book of real looking dogs and the things they do and don't do. Great conversation about the book, and what they love to do and not do. We laughed alot and they asked to read it again. Happily surprised!

Interesting way of presenting the behaviors of dogs. Nevertheless, my son loved it and It thought it was interesting. The book may not be conventional, but I think it gives a clear guide as to the difference between dogs and humans which I think its good for young children to understand.

Currently my son's favorite book. It has bright funny pictures that keep his interest and he doesn't have to be able to read to enjoy it by himself.

My 5-year-old boy's reaction to this book makes me love it. Purest and unexpected giggles throughout this simple piece.

Here is a way to show a fun way to children of what dogs can and cannot do. The illustrations are amusing, and enjoyable for the students to look at.

Great photo-like pictures. Short story with lots of flaps to show what dogs do and don't do. kids will find the book funny.

Silly photos (and photo-shopped fun)along with illustrations show what dogs DO and don't DO. They fetch sticks, but don't use drum sticks. Etc. Use for True and False storytimes.
