I've been meaning to get to know Björk more for a while but I never fully clicked with her music in high school like most people I know since it was dance-y and high-pitched and I preferred PJ Harvey's rock/blues and deep voice. Björk wrote Debut from 18 until 28 when it was released so it seems ok/appropriate for me to explore this now at 27 going thru similar themes of feeling new and a lil bit shy.     2. Before reading this book, one should have already familiarized themselves with Björk's oeuvre, as this biography does not go through her life. Although there is an eighteen to twenty page Biographical Overview there isn't much information within it that you won't find by watching Inside Björk or reading through her site. The book is instead split up into six sections: Nationalism, Nature, Technology, Sound, Emotion, and Contribution. As I said before, this book wouldn't be ideal for a new Bj [...]
